Common refrigerator problems
- Fridge too warm, freezer fine: check the evaporator fan and look for heavy frost on the back wall.
- Ice maker not working: confirm the water supply is on and the fill tube is not frozen.
- Display shows a sensor code: sensors are inexpensive parts, but diagnosis needs a multimeter — call a technician if a reset does not clear it.
- Keep food safety in mind: perishables above 40°F (4°C) for over 2 hours should be discarded.
